Communication Preferences and SMS Consent

This page describes how PSMF Pro collects and records consent for account-related communications in the app. It is intended to document our opt-in workflow for messaging compliance and toll-free number verification.

Users choose their communication preferences directly inside the app and must actively enable any optional communication channel before messages are sent through that channel.

🔐
SMS is used for account security only Text messages are used for two-factor authentication and similar account access workflows.
✉️
Email preferences are separately controlled Users can independently manage password recovery, educational information, email-based two-factor authentication, security alerts, and service updates.
🧾
Consent is explicit and user-controlled The user must visit the Communication Preferences screen, review the options, and save their settings. No SMS opt-in box is preselected.

Communication options available in the app

The Communication Preferences screen includes separate controls for these categories:

  • SMS for Two-Factor Authentication — verification codes for login and account access.
